Barcelona Football Club have appointed B team coach, Sergi Barjuan as interim manager after they fired Ronald Koeman.
Koeman was given the boot after a 1-0 loss to Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday, after 14 months with the club.
Barcelona is six points behind leaders Real Madrid and ninth on the table.
Barjuan, who played left-back for Barcelona and Spain won three league titles with Barcelona.
