Abians have continued to pour encomium on the Chairman, House Committee on Public Service Matters, Abia State House of Assembly, on his birthday, describing him as a rare gem and a gift to this generation.
They congratulated the lawmaker representing Obingwa-West State constituency, Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr on his birthday, applauding him for prioritizing the welfare of his constituents.
They disclosed that the former Obingwa Council boss is known for his commitment to public service, and also places premium priority on Human Capital Development of his constituents.
In his goodwill message, an elder statesman, Chief Isaac Ogbonna, lauded Erondu Jnr on his birthday, adding that they are proud of voting him to represent them.
He wished him a memorable birthday, praying God to continue to increase and protect him and his entire family.
Meanwhile, the Chairman, People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Obingwa Local Government Area (LGA), chapter, Hon. Ahamefula Egbulefu revealed that none of their representatives in the State and National Assembly has ever touched the lives of the people at the grassroot like the Lawmaker, hence, deserved to be celebrated on his birthday.
He said that the people of Obingwa did not regret voting him and PDP in 2023, calling on political leaders in Abia state to emulate Erondu Jnr’s purposeful leadership.
Contributing, an Abia resident, Mr. Uche Nwandiko, congratulated the lawmaker for marking another milestone in sound health.
Nwandiko maintained that the Uhie-born legislator has performed creditably in less than two years in office, thanking him for keeping to his campaign promises.
Recall that the former Director, Enyimba FC, has built over 45 houses for the indigent Abians, trained so many less privileged students from primary to Tertiary Education through his scholarship programmes, empowered women, widows and youths among others.
Erondu Jnr, fondly known as IGODO IGWE, who has been instrumental in promoting good governance, had earlier this year 2025, commenced grading of rural roads in Obingwa, Osisioma and Ugwunagbo LGAs to enhance accessibility especially during the rainy season.
