OBA Praises Governor Eno, Urges Unity Ahead of 2027 Elections

The YPP Governorship candidate in the 2023 General Elections, Senator Obong Bassey Albert (OBA), has praised the administration of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pst. Umo Eno, describing his inclusive governance as a model worthy of emulation.

OBA made the remarks during the ARISE with Renewed Hope Initiative tour to Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area on Thursday, which featured the inauguration of the newly constituted Coordinating Committee for the local government.

He expressed satisfaction with Governor Eno’s leadership style, noting that he has consistently maintained an approach that embraces all citizens, regardless of political affiliation.

“Governor Umo Eno is the Governor of the state, and Akwa Ibom is his entire constituency,” OBA said.
“It is not about who supported him or who did not; he serves the entire state equally, and I applaud him for that.”

He further stressed that political stakeholders should avoid struggles, emphasizing that the people of the state are one and should collectively benefit from development.

Looking ahead, OBA called for unity and collective efforts, particularly in delivering Ibiono Ibom one hundred percent in support of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Umo Eno.
