NAWOJ Hails Iniedu’s Appointment as Force Police Spokesman

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has congratulated CSP Anietie Okokon Edem Iniedu on his appointment as the new Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO) of the Nigeria Police Force.

In a press statement issued on Friday, June 19, 2026, and signed by its National President, Hajiya Aisha Ibrahim, the Association described the appointment by the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, as well-deserved and a testament to CSP Iniedu’s professionalism, competence, and dedication to service.

NAWOJ noted that the newly appointed police spokesman possesses extensive experience in public communication, intelligence management, operational policing, and institutional accountability, qualities it said make him eminently qualified for the strategic position.

The Association particularly highlighted his outstanding performance as Head of the Complaint Response Unit (CRU) at the Force Headquarters, Abuja, where he spearheaded initiatives that strengthened public trust and improved relations between the police and citizens.
