Hope Alive as Abia D Gov. Hands over vehicle to the family of deceased staff.
The Abia State Deputy Governor, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, has presented a minibus to the family of the late Mrs Mercy Okoro Uzor, a staff of his office.
Late Mrs Mercy Okoro Uzor, aged 38 died recently after battling with a protracted illness.
Handling over the vehicle to the husband of the deceased at premises of the Deputy Governor’s office, Engr. Emetu appreciated his boss, Governor Alex Otti for his selflessness and magnanimity which brought the minibus.
He enjoined the beneficiary to judiciously use and maintain the vehicle as a means of transportation to cater for his children.
Furthermore, he conveyed his condolences to the family.
Appreciating the Deputy Governor and the management of the Office of the Deputy Governor for the humanitarian gesture, the husband of the deceased, Mr. Patrick Kalu, assured that he will put the vehicle into good use and take care of his children.
