Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, on Thursday joined fellow governors under the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) for a strategic meeting in Abuja aimed at strengthening internal party processes ahead of upcoming primary elections.
The meeting, held at the Imo State Lodge, was chaired by the Chairman of the forum and Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma.

Discussions at the meeting centered on key issues relating to the conduct of the party’s primaries scheduled for next month, with particular emphasis on ensuring a smooth and credible process across the states.
The governors resolved to align with the directive of the party’s national leader, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stressing the need for free, fair, and transparent primary elections within the party.
They also reaffirmed their collective commitment to consolidating on existing achievements, promoting national development, and improving governance for the benefit of Nigerians.
