Transcorp Hilton Abuja has dismissed reports of a prolonged water shortage at the facility, confirming that a temporary disruption experienced earlier in April has been fully resolved.
In a statement issued on Friday, the management of the hotel explained that the brief interruption resulted from emergency maintenance work carried out by the Federal Capital Territory Water Board (FCTWB) on April 14, 2026.
According to the hotel, contingency measures were immediately put in place to ensure uninterrupted services and maintain guest comfort throughout the maintenance period.
Management further clarified that contrary to reports circulating on social media, water supply was fully restored on April 15, 2026, with normal operations resuming across all facilities.
The hotel added that it has since maintained stable and consistent water supply, with all services currently operating at full capacity.
The Managing Director, Martin Zarybnicky, reaffirmed the hotel’s commitment to maintaining high standards of hospitality and expressed appreciation to guests for their understanding during the brief disruption.
