Action Peoples Party (APP) wins 22 chairmanship seats out of 23 in the Rivers State Local Government election held today.

Chief Election Officer of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RISIEC), Justice Adolphus Enebeli (Rtd), announced this in Port Harcourt.

Announcing the results, Enebili also revealed that said Etche LGA is pending as the results collation is ongoing.

He assured that the results for Etche LGA will be declared alongside that of the 319 councillorship seats at a later.
