Kwankwaso, Rep. Obika Advocate Unity, People-Centred Governance in Abuja Meeting

Former Kano State Governor and national political figure, Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, and Hon. Joshua Obika Chinedu, Member of the House of Representatives, have emphasised the need for unity, inclusive governance, and people-focused leadership in Nigeria.

Obika paid a courtesy visit to Kwankwaso at his Abuja residence, where both leaders held discussions centred on strengthening national cohesion and promoting cooperation across political divides.

The meeting underscored the importance of dialogue, mutual respect, and collaboration among political actors in addressing Nigeria’s socio-economic and developmental challenges.

According to the discussions, both leaders agreed that sustainable national progress can only be achieved when the welfare and aspirations of citizens are prioritised above partisan interests.

They also highlighted the need for stronger engagement among political stakeholders to foster peace, stability, and effective governance across the country.
