Ikpeazu Mourns Gregory Ibe, Uduaghan

Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, has expressed deep sorrow over the deaths of his personal friend, Gregory Ibe, and former Delta State Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan, describing their departures as painful losses to their families and loved ones.

Ikpeazu, in a condolence message, said the death of Ibe was particularly heartbreaking because of the personal friendship and bond they shared, noting that the loss of someone dear leaves an emptiness that words can hardly capture.

He said that although the pain of losing a friend could be difficult to overcome, the memories they created together and the positive impact the deceased made during his lifetime would remain a source of comfort.

The former Abia State Governor also extended his heartfelt sympathies to Uduaghan’s family, as well as the loved ones of both deceased personalities, urging them to find strength and comfort in their moments of grief.

According to him, the departure of loved ones leaves an irreplaceable void, but their values, memories and legacies continue to live on in the hearts of those they leave behind.

Ikpeazu prayed that Almighty God would grant the bereaved families the strength to endure their losses, comfort their grieving hearts and give them the fortitude to navigate the difficult period.

He also prayed for the peaceful repose of the souls of the departed, asking God to grant them eternal rest.
