APC Enugu: Party Describes Purported Expulsion Of State Chair As Joke Taken Too Far

The leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Enugu State has described the purported letter of expulsion of the State Chairman of the party, Barrister Ugochukwu Agballa, as disgraceful.

A statement by the State Publicity Secretary of the party, Charles-Solo Ako recently and made available to newsmen said the purported letter of debasement, suspension and expulsion of the State Chairman, Barrister Ugochukwu Agballah by Udi/Agbudu political ward, and purportedly signed by one Mr. Aduma Ferdinand as ward Chairman and Mr. Onyia Francis, Secretary was nullity, inconsequential and a big joke.

The statement entitled, “A joke taken too far: purported letter of expulsion of the State Chairman is fake and distraction from the enemies of our great party,” noted that the alleged members of the executives of the ward were never part of the ward executive as such could not build something or nothing.

The statement observed that it was appalling and disgraceful how some elements could be allowed to be used by the enemies and political detractors to cause confusion in the party.

The statement urged members of the party and the general public to disregard such devilish work of the party’s enemies.

It added that the party was more than determined and resolute in its pursuit of providing a better platform for the people of  Enugu State.
