The Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chima Anyaso, has received the Abia State Chairman of the party, Hon. Peter Azubuike, at his country home in Igbere, Bende Local Government Area.
Azubuike’s visit followed his participation in the public presentation and signing of the Bende Prosperity Contract by Anyaso at the Uzuakoli Civic Centre.
The Labour Party chairman said he visited Anyaso to commend his efforts and commitment to strengthening the party’s presence in Bende Federal Constituency.
He reiterated the readiness of the state leadership to support Anyaso and work with party stakeholders towards securing victory for the Labour Party in the 2027 election.
Azubuike also commended the Bende Prosperity Contract, describing it as a platform through which Anyaso had clearly presented his vision, priorities and proposed development agenda to the people of the constituency.
Responding, Anyaso expressed appreciation to the state chairman for attending the contract presentation and for subsequently visiting him in Igbere.
He described the visit as a demonstration of the encouragement and support of the Labour Party leadership, while reaffirming his commitment to working closely with the party and its stakeholders in pursuit of the interests of the people of Bende Federal Constituency.
Also present during the visit were the Mayor of Bende Local Government Area, Hon. Dcn. Uwabunkonye Bassey; Abia North Coordinator of the Labour Party Campaign Council, Chief Emeka Kalu; former Bende Local Government Area Chairman, Hon. Ukwu Rocks Emma; and Chairman, Advisory Council of the Chima Anyaso Campaign Organisation, Ezeogo Emeka Onuoha.
