The Abia state sports council in conjunction with fifty one alliance is organising Abia state boxing championship tagged “Aba Golden Gloves” to select good boxers that will represent Abia State in the forthcoming national championships
In line with this, tomorrow Thursday 11th July, all the registered and illigible boxers for the championship will be issued with their boxing championship licenses in a brief ceremony that will take place in the boardroom of Abia State sports council umuahia by 9am prompt.
Any registered boxer without his or her license will not be allowed to participate.
This championship is in line with his excellency Dr Alex Chioma Otti’s vision in developing all sports in Abia state and the directive of the Hon commissioner for youth and sports development sir Nwaobilor Nwadinma Ananaba to ensure that all sports in the state most be on the wheels of progress
All the registered boxers for this event are directed to be present while attendance by proxy will not be accepted.
