Wabara, Nkwonta regret polls shift, say winning chances high

The Abia South Senatorial candidate of All Progressives Congress,(APC), Sir Marc Wabara, has described the shift in the 2019 elections by Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on the election day as quite regrettable.

Sir Wabara who stated this in his hometown, Ohambele Ndoki, Ukwa-East Local Government, Abia state, noted with dismay that this development has not gone well with the stakeholders, economically.

“The postponement has caused some doubts in the minds of people but we still believe in the capacity of INEC to conduct credible polls”, the APC candidate stated.

The former bank chief noted that their enthusiasm would not be dampened by the shift in the polls but would strengthen them to work harder to cruise to victory on the new dates.

Wabara who further called on INEC to work harder to re-establish confidence of the electorates also charged their supporters not to allow their enthusiasm to be dampened but maintain courage as they move to consolidate on their gains on the election day.

In a related development , the All Progressive Grand Alliance Senatorial Candidate for Abia South, Chief Chris Nkwonta, has also described the polls shift by the electoral umpire as quite unfortunate, adding that it would never deter them but will only brighten their winning chances.
