The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu, has felicitated with Nigerians on the occasion of its 59th Independence Anniversary. According to a release by his Chief Press Secretary, Onyebuchi Ememanka, Governor Ikpeazu also congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari,and all leaders in the country across all levels on this milestone and urged them to rededicate themselves to the pursuit of the welfare of the people. Describing the 59th Independence Anniversary as yet another opportunity for Nigerians to thank God for the privilege of nationhood,the Governor urged them to rededicate themselves to those worthy ideals of building a nation that is stronger and more united. While assuring Abians that he remains committed to the relentless quest of a better life for the citizens, Ikpeazu wished them a restful and joyous Independence Holiday.
