Government pledges Support For Groups Promoting a Decent Society

  1. Government has said that it will always identify with any group that will promote a decent society.

The secretary to the state government Prof. Kenneth Kalu, made this known when the members of Rochobath Choir paid a courtesy visit to his office, commended them for choosing music as ministry which according to him is a vital part of life.

Prof Kalu, who noted that people get healing through inspiring music ministration, urged them not to relent on their efforts in rendering effective services to God and humanity through music.

The SSG who described the group as critical partner to the government, assured them of being part of the group to perform during government events.

  1. He used the opportunity to invite them to the forth coming Interdenominational service as part of the event to mark the second anniversary of Governor Alex Otti in office.

Speaking earlier, the president, Rochobath Choir, Signor Nwoko Nathaniel, said that the essence of their visit was to appreciate him for identifying with them as well as to intimate him of their readiness to partner with government in the area of youth empowerment through music.

Signor Nwoko who pleaded that the choir should be included as part of the group that performs during government events, pledged their unalloyed loyalty to the present administration.
