Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has approved the immediate dissolution of Hospital Management Board (HMB).
A statement by the Secretary to the State Government Barr Chris Ezem says Governor Ikpeazu directs the immediate reconstitution of a new Board.
The reconstituted Board members are, Dr Alison Obinna– Chief Executive, Barr. Ama Eme – Board Chairman, Prince Ekwenye Nwanju – Member
Others are Ikechi Edwin Ogbonna, Mr M. O Ndukwe, Mrs Joy Izuogu.
The statement further directed the new board members to ensure immediate commencement of biometric verification of all staff.
