The Ututu Young Peoples’ Christian Fellowship (UYPCF) has celebrated its 25th anniversary with a four-day International Conference held from Thursday, August 27 to Sunday, August 30, 2026, at St. Patrick College, 1 Nnebisi Road, Asaba, Delta State.
The conference, held under the theme, “Season of All-Round Increase,” drawn from Psalm 115:14, featured worship, prayers, teachings, fellowship and other activities aimed at promoting the spiritual growth of members.
The President of UYPCF, Bro. Sunday Nwachukwu, led the fellowship during the anniversary celebration, as members reflected on the organisation’s 25 years of growth, service and commitment to God.
According to Bro Sunday Nwachukwu, Ututu Young Peoples’ Christian Fellowship (UYPCF) is a mandate from God and not the making of any man. She is both non-denominational and inter-denominational and was born with a special vision to “raise a people of great destiny.” God is doing this through the total emancipation of our people and dear land from the powers of darkness and translation of same into His glorious light.
One of the major highlights of the conference was a quiz competition involving participants from various zones of the fellowship. The competition provided members with an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge of the Bible while promoting learning and healthy competition.
At the end of the competition, the first-place winner received ₦50,000, while the second- and third-place winners received ₦30,000 and ₦20,000, respectively.
The fellowship also reflected on its humble beginnings. According to its history, UYPCF held its first meeting on October 28, 2001, at Dynasty Hotels,GRA-1- Port Harcourt, Rivers State, with only three people in attendance.
From that modest beginning, the fellowship has grown to more than 500 members and 16 zones across Nigeria, with branches in the United States of America and Canada.
Among its achievements are its registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), evangelism across the 19 villages in Ututu, leading hundreds of people to Christ, and the consistent organisation of annual Christmas, Prayer Storm and International Conference
programs,
Provision of financial and non-financial support to the Churches/Men of God in Ututu and outside Ututu,
Academic workshops and prize giving to deserving schools and students.
Furthermore the fellowship achievement also includes
Donation of educational materials to primary and secondary schools in Ututu,
Scholarship award and financial support to students of Ututu origin also
Helping many Ututu people living in different parts of the country secure employment with various companies among other achievements.
The conference featured ministers including Pastor Sam Obiorah Evangelist Chidi Okeke and Pastor Kalu Onwu Irem who ministered during the programme.
The four-day gathering ended on Sunday with a thanksgiving service and appreciation to God for the successful conference and the 25-year journey of the fellowship.
The celebration also renewed the commitment of the leadership and members to the vision of UYPCF to “raise a people of great destiny” and extend its spiritual impact in the years ahead.
