Governor Alex Otti has reaffirmed that Abia State is fully open to investors whose presence will drive economic growth, create employment opportunities and boost the State’s Gross Domestic Product.
Governor Otti stated this on Thursday, at his Conference Hall in Nvosi, Isialangwa South LGA, during a business meeting with a delegation from SINOMA Nigeria Company, led by its Chairman Mr Zhang Hui.
The Governor emphasized that his administration is gradually putting the right infrastructure in place, including electricity, roads, and security among others, to create a conducive environment for all types of investments.
He extended an invitation to the Company to establish a factory in Abia State, assuring of his administration’s readiness to partner with it.
,Earlier in his speech, the the leader of the delegation and Chairman of the Company, Mr Zhang Hui, stated that SINOMA specializes in manufacturing high-quality building materials, particularly for ceilings and walls.
He highlighted that the company’s products are water and fire-resistant, which makes them ideal for modern construction needs.
Also speaking, the Company ‘s Country Head of Sales, Mr Nwankwo Chukwudi, disclosed that the company has introduced fiber ceiling technology, a new innovation used for wall partitioning.
He further explained that the Company operates an Engineering department, which specializes in construction and cement production. According to him, the company has been active in Nigeria for nearly two decades and is keen on deepening its presence in Abia through strategic collaboration with the State Government.
