The Nigerian duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho failed to save their club, Leicester City as Liverpool earned all three points in a dominant performance at Amfield.
Diego Jota scored in each half as the Red Devil’s narrowed the gap between them and leaders Manchester City to nine points.
While Ndidi played all 90 minutes, Iheanacho came in as a substitute in the 60th minute for Patson Daka.
