Abia State Deputy Governor, Engr Ikechukwu Emetu has called on Church to sustain their prayers for the present administration to enable it realise its good dream of rebuilding the state for the better.
The Deputy Governor who stated this when he received the prelate of the Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim worldwide, His most Eminence, Baba Aladura,Dr David Bob Manuel and members of the Advisory board of the Holy Order who visited him in his office at government house lauded the church for their support and prayers during last year’s general election .
He pointed out that the present administration led by Governor Alex Otti is committed to the welfare of Abians as it has cleared backlog of salaries and pension arrears owed workers and pensioners in the state, embarked on massive re construction of roads among others.
The Deputy Governor congratulated them as they prepare for the centenary celebration which will hold next year and assured govrnment’s support.

Prelate of Eternal Sacred Order of Cherubim and Seraphim(ESOCS) Worldwide, His Most Eminence,Baba Aladura, Dr. David Bob- Manuel,Moses Orimolade IX. said that they were on pastoral visit to the state and also to inform the Deputy Governor of their forthcoming centinary Endowment Fund launch scheduled to hold on the 9th of September 2025.
He congratulated them for their electoral victory and commended the laudable developmental transformation being executed by the present administration ably led by Governor Alex Otti adding that they will not relent in their prayers for the government.
The visit featured presentation of gift to the Deputy Governor by the prelate and special prayers for the success of the present administration.
