Governor Alex Otti of Abia State has congratulated the Regional Overseer and members of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), South-East 6 Regional Headquarters, Amuzukwu, Umuahia, on the church’s 29th anniversary.
Governor Otti, who spoke at the anniversary celebration held at the church’s regional headquarters in Umuahia, described the occasion, themed “Celebration of Joy”, as an opportunity to reflect on 29 years of impactful and remarkable activities by the church.
The governor commended the church for its sustained prayers and support for his administration, as well as its role as ambassadors of Abia State.
He stressed the importance of hard work, honesty and resilience, noting that such values ultimately yield positive results.
Governor Otti also urged Christians to remain discerning as the political season gathers momentum and cautioned them against what he described as the antics of political opponents.
The Governor assured Abians that his administration would continue to provide greater services to the people.
In his address, the Regional Overseer of MFM South-East 6, Pastor Olugbenga Aremu, said the 29th anniversary marked the beginning of “greater testimonies, greater Grace, greater impact, and greater Glory”.
Pastor Aremu said the celebration is a commemoration of “29 years of transformed lives, strengthened families and restored destinies”.
The governor was accompanied to the event by the member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency, Chief Obi Aguocha; National Secretary of the Labour Party, Chief Acho Obioma; Secretary to the State Government, Dr Emmanuel Meribole; Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba.and other government officials.
