The member representing Ukwa-East and Ukwa-West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and Chairman of the House Committee on Climate Change, Hon. Chris Nkwonta has felicitated with his Constituents on the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
The Federal legislator urged them to use the occasion of Christmas to live examplary life of love amongst themselves.
Rep. Nkwonta in a Christmas message signed by the Head, Media and Publicity of his office, Dr. Chidi Nwankpa and available to newsmen, called on his constituents to emulate the life of Christ and show love and kindness to humanity.
He further noted that the season is an opportunity to celebrate the priceless values of empathy, peace, love, tolerance , forgiveness and other virtues that characterised the life and times of the Saviour Jesus Christ.
He stated that the birth of Christ gave hope to all Christians and reiterated his firm determination in changing the lives of members of his constituency through genuine love and quality representation that would positively impact on them.
In his words: “As a legislator, l assure my people of the need to be Christ-like in all l do to ensure l provide all needed dividends that would stand the test of time in our federal constituency”
He said: ”l recognise the fact that our Saviour Jesus Christ addressed a plethora of human needs while on earth, l am very intentional in my pursuit and desire to serve my people and give the best of legislative experience and rewards “
Chief Nkwonta called on the people of his constituency to shun rumours, distractions and other negative vices but to continue to support him assuring that the people will never regret sending him to the Green Chambers.
