Respite has come the way of ailing former Super Eagles coach, Christian Chukwu as Nigerian businessman, Philanthropist and the chairman of Forte Oil PLC, Femi Otedola presented a cheque of $50,000 to Chukwu on Wednesday.
You will recall that the businessman made the pledge when news broke that Chukwu, who captained the victorious Green Eagles in 1980 African Cup of Nations was sick.
This donation will enable the Chairman, as Christian Chukwu is fondly called foot his medical bills in the United Kingdom.
