CHIEF IWUANYANWU’S DEATH PAINFUL, OKO CHUKWU MOURNS

The immediate past number two citizen of Abia State, the Rt. Hon. Sir Ude Oko Chukwu has commiserated with the bereaved family members, people of Imo State, Ndi Igbo and Nigeria on the great loss of Engr. Dr. Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu.

Oko Chukwu who received with shock and sadness the news of the sudden demise of Ahaejiagamba Ndigbo, an illustrious and patriotic son of the Igbo nation, which occurred on Thursday 25th July 2024, according to a release made available to newsmen by Mr. Obasi Okibeh Onwukah, described his as painful.

According to him, the death of Chief Iwuanyanwu, who until his call to eternal glory was the President-General of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo worldwide, was a huge loss to not only his immediate family and Imo State in particular but also to Ndi Igbo and Nigeria at large, adding that the Igbo Leader came, saw and conquered through his selfless service and commitment to the common good.

Sir Oko Chukwu eulogized the respected elder statesman, accomplished politician, foremost industrialist, community leader and philanthropist, for his sterling contributions to national, regional and subnational growth, development and unity, pointing out that his positive exploits and achievements in the Construction Industry, Aviation Sector, Print Media Space and Sports Development among others remain tall testaments of his efforts and commitment which cannot be forgotten in a hurry.

The immediate past Deputy Governor of Abia State, Rt. Hon. Sir Ude Oko Chukwu prayed God to grant the soul of the great Igbo Patriot and Leader eternal rest.
