INEC Uploads 92.2% of FCT Chairmanship Election Results

Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has uploaded 92.2 per cent of results from Saturday’s chairmanship elections across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), according to figures published on its Result Viewing Portal (IReV).

Data obtained from the portal as of 5:55am on Sunday show that 2,602 results had been uploaded out of the 2,822 polling units expected across the six area councils of the territory.

The development reflects a generally high level of compliance with electronic transmission of results, though disparities were recorded among councils.

Overall
Assessment
Overall, five of the six area councils surpassed the 90 per cent mark in result uploads by early Sunday. However, Kwali and Kuje remained below average, with Kuje recording the slowest upload rate as of the time the data was compiled.

INEC has assured Nigerians that the remaining results would be uploaded as technical and logistical challenges are resolved, reinforcing its commitment to transparency in the electoral process.
