Political stakeholders in Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area (LGA), Abia State have commended the Chairman, House Committee on Public Service, Abia State House of Assembly, Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr, describing him as a passionate and purposeful leader.
The Chairman, Osisioma-Ngwa political stakeholders, Elder Sam Njoku who disclosed this yesterday in Aba, Abia state, during a visit of the Abia lawmaker, maintained that his (Erondu Jnr) Human Capital Development strides resonate across Ngwa land, Abia state and Nigeria at large.
The elderstatesman, further supported a motion moved by the former Commissioner for Transport, Abia State, Hon. Godswill Uche Nwanoruo to adopt Erondu Jnr as their representative owing to his commitment towards the socio-economic development of his constituents.
Contributing, the Chairman, People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Osisioma-Ngwa Local Government Area (LGA) chapter, Barr. Emeka Onyenso, thanked Erondu Jnr for making the Ngwa nation proud through his various empowerment programmes in Abia state and beyond.
Barr. Onyenso called on politicians at all levels to emulate the Uhie-born legislator’s leadership style of uplifting their people, assuring that PDP Osisioma-Ngwa will always support him.
In his speech, a former commissioner for transport in Abia state, Barr. Ekele Nwaohamuo, emphasized that party business is turn by turn, describing political defectors from PDP as ungrateful people with no electoral value.
Meanwhile, a political stalwart in Osisioma-Ngwa, Elder Emeka Ahuruonye, who noted that PDP in Osisioma-Ngwa is intact and waxing strong stronger, thanked Erondu Jnr for his commitment to the party.
In their separate remarks, the woman leader, and the youth leader, Osisioma-Ngwa LGA, Mrs. Joy John and Mr. Frank Nwogu respectively, said that they are proud of PDP and not disturbed by a few defectors that left the party, adding that they are ready to regain power in Osisioma and Abia State.

They said: “PDP still remain the beautiful bride. We are also happy that it is the bad eggs that left our party. We are now better and stronger than before.”
Earlier in his remark, the immediate past Commissioner for Post Basic Education in Abia state, Elder I.C. Mark thanked Erondu Jnr for his visiting them, adding that the party has been encouraged to do better.
Hon. Godswill Uche Nwanoruo, a former Commissioner for Transport had earlier moved a motion to adopt Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr as their representative as PDP has no representative from Osisioma Ngwa in Abia State House of Assembly.

The motion was overwhelming supported by Elder Sam Njoku and Elder I.C. Mark among other stakeholders.
They decried that those empowered by the immediate past Abia Governor, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu and PDP-led government left their people with no meaningful impact.
Meanwhile the lawmaker representing Obingwa-West State constituency in Abia state House of Assembly (ABHA), Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr has urged political stakeholders in Osisioma Ngwa Local Government Area (LGA) to remain in People’s Democratic Party (PDP), adding that it is the only party with the people’s interest.
The former Chairman, Obingwa LGA, who revealed this at the visit, urged stakeholders and aggrieved party members who were not favoured in the last party congress to sheath their swords and support the party.
The former Director, Enyimba FC, maintained that PDP had lost power in the state previously, and regained it, expressing hope that the party would regain power in the state come 2027.
In his remark, the Director-General Igodo Igwe campaign council, Hon. Chidiebere Ihenyirimadu thanked Osisioma Ngwa stakeholders for their warm reception and support to PDP, insisting that they would never regret it.
In his vote of thanks, Chief Sorochi Mark, also thanked the people of Osisioma Ngwa for the support to the party, maintaining that Obingwa and Osisioma Ngwa are brothers that cannot be divided.
