CSKA Moscow were unstoppable at the Santiago Benabau as they humbled defending champions, Real Madrid 0-3. However, the Russians finished last in their group while Real Madrid finished tops. Real Madrid and qualify for the round of 16 while Plzen will move to the Europa League.
In other matches, Manchester City defeated Hoffenheim 2-1 to win group F. They are joined in the round of 16 by Lyon, who drew 1-1 with Shakhtar Donetsk.
Bayern Munich and Ajax settled for a 3-3 draw as both teams progressed in the competition while Benfica, who defeated AEK Athens by a lone goal will play in the Europa League. The round of 16 draws will hold on Monday.
