Taraba Honours Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim with Commemorative Medallion

The Taraba State Ministry of Women Affairs and Child Development, in partnership with the Legacy Gallery Project International Initiative, has honoured the Minister of Women Affairs and Social Development, Hajiya Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, with a Special Commemorative Medallion.

The honour was presented at the Government House Banquet Hall, Jalingo, during the 26th National Council on Women Affairs, Child Advancement and Social Development.

The recognition formed part of activities at the national gathering and celebrated the minister’s contributions to the advancement of women, children, families and social development in Nigeria.

The commemorative medallion, according to the organisers, symbolises appreciation for purposeful leadership, commitment to the welfare of women and children, family strengthening and the promotion of an inclusive society.

Speaking at the event, the Convener of the Legacy Gallery Project International Initiative and Chief Executive Officer of Skillful Impressive Enterprises, Jerry Uruku Irimiya, said the initiative was established to recognise outstanding leadership, preserve historic moments and celebrate impactful public service.

He described the presentation of the medallion to the minister as a significant moment for Taraba State, noting that the honour reflected the appreciation of the state for leadership committed to improving the lives of women, children and vulnerable groups.

According to him, the collaboration between the Taraba State Ministry of Women Affairs and Child Development and the Legacy Gallery Project International Initiative underscores the importance of preserving moments of national significance for future generations.

The event, he added, went beyond a ceremonial reception for the minister, serving as an opportunity to celebrate leadership, public service and the collective responsibility of building a better society for women, children and other vulnerable persons.
