The Black Stars of Ghana and the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon will take on South American opponents respectively as they battle to qualify for the knockout stage of the World Cup.
In group G, Cameroon will take on five-time champions, Brazil in a match the Africans must win, and hope that Switzerland do not defeat Serbia.

In all, Brazil have met African teams seven times at the World Cup and they have won all, scoring 20 goals and conceding only twice.
Having qualified for the knockout stage already, Brazil are expected to bench their key players to the advantage of Cameroon.

It was Uruguay, who stopped Ghana from reaching the semi-finals of the 2010 World Cup, when Luiz Suarez handled a goal bound ball and the resulting penalty was missed.
This is an opportunity for Ghana to take their pound of flesh.
