NPFL Club Secretaries Commend NFF For Local Content In The Super Eagles

The NPFL Club Secretaries Forum in the wake of the recent invitation to the Nigeria Senior Male National Team (Super Eagles) for the international friendlies in CONCACAF against Mexico and and Ecuador, has commended the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for heeding to the local content demand from Nigerians.

Recall, the Forum solicited the inclusion of TNPFL Players in the Senior Male National Team (Super Eagles) from the NFF in paragraph eight (8) of the communique of the forum during their second Annual General Meeting held in Abuja, Nigeria, between March 28th to 29th, 2022.

In a statement signed by Public Relations Officer (P.R.O.), NPFL Club Secretaries Forum, Elder Omon Bassey and tmade available to National Ambassador, disclosed that the recent invitation of eight (8) NPFL Players is timely and seen to be a heed from our demand. The invited players include:
1. Adewale Adeyinka (Akwa United)
2. Ojo Olorunleke (Enyimba Int’l)
3. Ibrahim Buhari ( Plateau United)
4. Victor Mboama (Enyimba Int’l)
5. Ishaq Rafiu (Rivers United)
6. Isah Ali (Remo Stars)
7. Chiamaka Madu (Rivers United)
8. Azeez Nosiru (Kwara United)

The forum re-emphasize their confidence in the leadership of the Amaju Melvin Pinick led NFF and can boldly describe them as responsible and with a listening ear.

More worthy of commendation is the appointment of another NPFL Coach and former International right wing player, Finidi George as first Assistant Coach to the Technical Adviser Jose Paseiro in his first year in the NPFL.
