Ikpeazu, Sen Orji, Extolled Over Awards

A philanthropist, Chief Emeka Ikwuagwu has extolled governor Okezie Ikpeazu and Sen. T.A Orji on the recent conferment of best governor of the year and best Senator of the year awards on them respectively and described the awards as reflection of good governance in the state.

Speaking to Journalists shortly after the ceremony, a political stalwart in the state, Chief Emeka Ikwuagwu said that for the duo to have won the best awards in their different capacities showed the level of developmental revolution going on in the state. Chief Ikwuagwu said that the awards not only signified the unity of purpose existing among the two top political gladiators of the state committed to make a mark both in the governance and in enhancing the life of the people. He commended the governor and the Senator for the synergy existing between the governor and the Senator in placing the state in the front burner of development.

The founder of Emeka Ikwuagwu Foundation said that the awards did not come as a surprise to those who have been following the good activities of the governor and the senator stating that all corners of the state are dotted with the achievements of Gov. Ikpeazu and Sen Orji.

He enumerated the achievements of both the governor and the lawmaker insisting that the awards were well deserved considering what were on the ground within these short period despite distractions faced by the governor from his political opponents.

He expressed the confidence that the awards would spur them to greater achievements in the service of the people.

The skills empowerment promoter urged the people of the state not to relent in their support for them stating that their achievements have qualified them for second tenures. Chief Ikwuagwu whose company distributed school scandals to indigent pupils cut across the state said that everything on ground point to the fact that the governor have done a lot to seal his second term bid.
