Gov. Otti, Bende LGA Mayor Task Corp Members To Make A Difference

Bende LGA Mayor, Barr Nwankwo Taking Salute From Corp Members 

The Governor of Abia state, Dr. Alex Otti, has sworn in the 2024 batch A stream one of the National Youth Service Corps members in Abia State.

The ceremony took place at the nysc permanent orientation camp in Igbere, Bende LGA with the governor charging the newly sworn in corp members to imbibe the culture of comradeship in the disharge of their duties to their place of primary assignment.

The Governor represented by the commissioner for sports and youth development, Hon. Nwaobilo Ananaba congratulated the corp members for successfully making it through their academic hurdles, which qualified them for the programme.

Earlier, the Mayor of Bende LGA, Barr. Chijioke Nwankwo who was on ground in the camp to welcome the corp members encouraged them to feel free to interact with the people that they may come in contact with in the state throughout their service year.

Mayor Nwankwo also charged the corp members to make a difference through their different field of learning be it school or organisations where they will be posted as they make their stay in Abia a memorable one.

He assured them that the people of Abia are hospitable and kind.
