EPL: Iwobi scores as Arsenal Beat Burnley

Nigeria international, Alex Iwobi scored Arsenal’s third goal as they defeated visiting Burnley 3-1. However, it was Mesut Ozil, who was making his first league start in six league games that stole the show with his sublime passes that tore Burnley defense to shreds.

The German international was instrumental to Aubameyang’s opener in the 14th minute, which saw Arsenal lead a match into the half time for the first time in this season’s EPL. Early into the second half the Gabon international made it two.

But, Burnley pulled one back through Barnes on the 63rd minute before Iwobi put the match beyond their opponents late into the game.

In some other matches, Bournemouth defeated Brighton 2-0 while Southampton hammered Huddersfield 3-1. Newcastle and Fulham settled their encounter goalless as Watford hammered West Ham 2-0.
