A political analyst and development consultant, Comrade Nelson Nnanna Nwafor, has described Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso as a strong contender for quality representation in Bende Federal Constituency, citing his international engagements, philanthropic activities, and commitment to community development.
In an analysis titled “Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso: Touring the World, Building Connections, and Positioning Bende for the Future,” Nwafor said the growing political discourse ahead of the 2027 National Assembly elections has increasingly focused on identifying leaders with the vision, competence, and network required to attract development opportunities to their constituencies.
According to him, Anyaso has distinguished himself through a combination of entrepreneurial success, youth empowerment initiatives, educational support programmes, and strategic global engagements.
He noted that Anyaso recently participated in discussions at Harvard University in the United States, where issues relating to governance, institutional trust, and sustainable development were examined. During the engagement, he reportedly advocated accountable leadership, transparency, and strong institutions as critical pillars for Africa’s development.
Nwafor also highlighted Anyaso’s keynote address at the annual conference of the University of Derby Law School in the United Kingdom, where he spoke on global finance, justice, and Africa’s economic future. He said the address focused on the need for fairer access to capital for African nations and entrepreneurs as a pathway to unlocking the continent’s economic potential.
The analyst argued that such international engagements demonstrate Anyaso’s ability to build relationships with global institutions, investors, and development partners capable of contributing to the growth of Bende Federal Constituency.
He further observed that Anyaso’s commitment to public service predates his political aspiration, pointing to years of philanthropic interventions, scholarship schemes, mentorship programmes, entrepreneurship support initiatives, and community development projects.
According to Nwafor, many beneficiaries of these initiatives view Anyaso’s political ambition as a continuation of an established record of service rather than a new undertaking.
He also referenced efforts by the Chima Anyaso Foundation to explore partnerships with international organisations aimed at addressing food insecurity and strengthening community support systems across the constituency.
On youth development, Nwafor said Anyaso has consistently advocated greater participation of young people in governance, innovation, and entrepreneurship, while promoting policies and programmes that encourage self-reliance and economic empowerment.
He maintained that addressing the challenges confronting Bende Federal Constituency, including infrastructure deficits, healthcare needs, youth unemployment, agricultural development, and economic growth, requires visionary leadership and strategic representation.
The analyst concluded that Anyaso’s track record in business, philanthropy, community service, and advocacy positions him as a prominent figure in ongoing discussions about the future of Bende Federal Constituency.
He stated that as the 2027 elections approach, voters would ultimately assess aspirants based on their records, competence, and capacity to deliver meaningful representation and development.
