Abia Legislator, Erondu Jnr Greets Nigerians At Democracy Day

The Chairman, House Committee on Public Service, Abia State House of Assembly, (ABHA), Erondu Uchenna Erondu Jnr, has felicitated with his constituents and Nigerians on the occasion of democracy day.

In a Press Release signed by his spokesperson; George Egejuru and made available to newsmen today, the lawmaker congratulated Nigerians for keeping faith with democracy with June 12, noting that the day resonates the collective struggle and resilience of the people to enthrone and sustain democracy.

The former Chairman, Obingwa Local Government Area (LGA), Abia state disclosed that the 25 years of uninterrupted civil rule speaks to the collective desire of the people to sustain democracy, paying special tributes to heroes of democracy for their sacrifices.

The member representing Obingwa-West State constituency, further decried economic hardship ocassioned by fuel subsidy removal and electricity tariff increment in the country, urging Nigerians not to despair, but to continue to pray that things get better for all in the country.

The Uhie-born legislator, assured that he, in collaboration with other lawmakers would continue to remain alive to their legislative duties with a view to further entrenching democracy in Abia state and Nigeria at large.
