Abia Economy To Receive Boost, As INELS Opens Its Umuahia Branch

 

 

As a way of driving the economy of Abia state, a fast growing superstore,INELS, has opened its branch in Umuahia,Abia state.

The shopping mall which is located along Aba road,Umuahia, is a leading venture across the South East and South-South geopolitical zones, saddled with the vision of selling quality products at a very affordable and friendly rates.

As a large retail merchandise,INELS would meet many of the consumers’ needs for food and non food items by housing a full service of a grocery store,bakery section,pharmaceuticals,kiddies,gym and sports equipments,boutique,restaurant and of course a banquet hall for meetings and conferences.

Speaking with the Press shortly after its official opening, the former Inspector General of Police, Mike Okiro,who had the honour of cutting the tape to officially open the store for operation,expressed joy that the establishment has been waxing stronger after its arrival in Akwa Ibom state.

The former IGP expressed more gratitude to God for answering his prayers at the official launch of the Akwa Ibom branch, where he also had the opportunity of cutting the tape.

According to him,during the opening of INELS in Akwa Ibom state, he prayed God to give the Chief Executive Officer the enablement to open more branches and gladly announced that after his prayers, the business has expanded to Imo and Abia states.

Outlining aits numerous benefits to Abia state, he said the establishment would generate revenue for the state through taxation and also help to curb the issue of unemployment which according to him, would have ripple effect on the economy of the state.

He urged the Abia state government to emulate the gesture and also create more enabling environment that would encourage more investors into the state and as well, have a tax reform, urging Abians to patronize the mall for quality and affordable products.

Also, a Nollywood legend and Influencer, Chief Kanayo .O. Kanayo, who was among the array of dignitaries that witnessed the official opening of the mall in Abia, said INELS has built a name for itself over the years, which is tied around offering quality goods and services at very affordable prices,adding that the standard cannot be compromised.

He said the mall would among other things,create more jobs and as well, boost the revenue of the state,urging Abians to make good use of the opportunity.

According to Chief Kanayo, he would be attracting more investments into Abia state,as well as,bringing more synergies, collaborations and partnerships,assuring that in terms of entertainment,Abia would not come last.

The Nollywood Actor who revealed that he grew up in Aba, reiterated that he would do everything possible to energize Abia state.

In his words,”I have my root in Aba.I attended Secondary Technical School Aba.I am more Aba than Mbaise.Part of me breathe in Abia. Am happy the present Governor is my friend. Am not here to take from the state but to give my best so that Abia can take its pride of place in the comity of states”.

In an interview with a shopper and Attorney to the mall, Sir Sidney Onyemere, lauded the investor, Mr Ifeanyi Nwankwo for putting up a store that meets the needs of customers at a good price.

According him, INELS is a one stop shop for quality brandy and spirits,urging Abians to do all their Christmas shoppings at INELS.

Earlier, the founder of INELS,Mr Ifeanyi Emmanuel Nwankwo, said INELS is not the regular shopping mall but a superstore put forth for humanitarian purpose.

He said he had always had the vision of giving back to the society through selling affordable but quality products, expressing gratitude to God the vision has become a reality.

Mr Nwankwo who was the chairman of Nigerian Police-SAP (Stakeholders  Assisted Projects),said INELS is basically human oriented, stating that he was driven to take the lead in correcting the impression people have about the Police, hence he would be giving free shopping to the children of the best police officers for the semester.

According to him, this is to encourage the police officers to be at their best,as most of the ill behaviors associated with officers of the Nigerian Police are because of the inadequate treatment given to them.

He said no nation only can take care of its law enforcement agents,therefore, it’s important individuals, as well as,captain of industries, join hands to support their operations,to bring the desired change in the Police service.

“As part of my support to encourage officers of the police,from January 2024, i will be giving free shopping to the Children of the best police officers. This will motivate other officers to put up their best. By this, we will be changing the narrative.

“The Police has done enough for me. I want to use this to motivate other stakeholders to appreciate and assist our Police,so as to restore sanity in the force. Am starting this, because I want to be at the vanguard,so that other individuals and as well,business owners can follow suit in appreciating our security agents”.

Mr Nwankwo said the INELS has engaged a wide range of workforce and as God gives him life more investments would be coming from him.
