The most successful team in the FIFA U-17 World Cup, the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria qualified for next year’s U-17 AFCON after defeating Black Starlets of Ghana 3-1 on penalties in the WAFU U-17 tournament that took place in Niger Republic.
The AFCON, which will take place in Tanzania will also serve as qualifiers for the U-17 World Cup.
