Oliver Giroud scored twice as AC Milan defeated Inter Milan 2-0 in the Milan Derby and thereby move within a point to their rivals at the top of the Serie A table.
It was Inter that took the lead in the first half through Ivan Perisic. But, Giroud scored his sixth and seventh goals of the season to give his club all three points.
Theo Hernandez of AC Milan was sent off for a lunging-tackle on Denzel Dumfries in the final seconds of the game.
AC Milan have not won any trophy for over ten years.
