The 2019 runners-up will take on the second-placed team in Group G, which is likely to be Italy, South Africa, or Argentina, in the first round of 16 matches on Saturday.

In the group’s other match played simultaneously, defending champions, USA threw away their chance of emerging the group winners as they settled for a goalless draw with debutants, Portugal.

Hence, the United States will take on Group G winners, which is most likely to be Sweden on Sunday.
