Abia monarch hails Gov Ikpeazu for tax reduction on SMEs

The second deputy chairman, Abia state Traditional Rulers’ council, HRH Eze (Dr) Nnamdi Harry Ugwuala has commended the Abia state Governor for reduction of taxes on Small Scale and Medium-sized Enterprise (SMEs) in Abia.

The royal father, stated this in his palace in Ugwunagbo Local Government Area (LGA), adding that investment in Abia is yielding good profits, due to the enabling business environment created by Gov. Ikpeazu’s administration.

He added that the Made-in-Aba campaigns of Gov Ikpeazu has brought enhanced wealth creation among artisans in Aba, insisting that most unaccessible roads in Aba have been constructed and reconstructed by Gov Ikpeazu’s administration.

Eze Ugwuala who expressed satisfaction by the manner Covid-19 is being managed in Abia, hailed the equitable distribution of dividends of democracy across the state.

He further pointed out that agriculture, education, health, infrastructure have been given a boost, insisting that security is now stable in the state.

The monarch further revealed that the relationship between Gov Ikpeazu and the traditional rulers are cordial as their stipends are given them as and when due.

While also thanking the wife of the Abia Governor, Deaconess Nkechi Ikpeazu for building houses for the downtrodden in the society, Eze Ugwuala also urged Abians to be patient, shun hatred and continue to support Gov. Ikpeazu who he described as God-sent leader.
