HOS Urges Permanent Secretaries to Lead by Example, Embrace Discipline and Digital Transformation

The Head of Service (HOS), Mr. Benson Ojeikere, has charged Permanent Secretaries in Abia State to demonstrate exemplary leadership through punctuality, discipline, and commitment to duty.

Speaking during a mentorship session held at the Okpara Auditorium, Umuahia, Ojeikere said the interactive engagement was designed to equip Permanent Secretaries with essential knowledge for effective leadership and improved service delivery.

He emphasized that true leadership entails selfless service to the public, placing the welfare of others above personal interest. According to him, prioritizing collective goals is key to nurturing a motivated and efficient workforce within the state’s civil service.
