Abia State team for the National Youth Games is set for the South East Zonal Elimination, which is a prelude to the National Youth Games. The eliminations will run from Saturday 16th to Monday 18th August 2025 at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium Enugu:
Team Abia will be competing in seven Sports, namely: Basketball – male and female, Volleyball – male and female and Football – male and female.
Others are Cricket – female, Rugby – male and female, Hockey – male and Handball – male and female.
Qualified teams will participate in the fourth coming National Youth Games. At Asaba, Delta state from August 26th to Sept 1st
