Ex commissioner buries Dad;Gov Ikpeazu condoles family.

The body of late Capt Isaac Chibuikem Ikoh, father of former Commissioner for Industry, Chief Henry Ikoh, has been laid to rest at his Ahuwa Oboro country home in Ikwuano LGA of Abia State.

Speaking at the ceremony, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu who condoled with the family on their loss however thanked God for enabling the deceased attain the age of 91,adding that it was not a mean feat.

Governor Ikpeazu while stressing the need for the living to be mindful of how they live while on earth,enjoined the family of the late Capt Ikoh to take solace in the fact that he bequeathed a lasting legacy for them during his 91 years sojourn on earth adding that they should imbibe the good character and legacies he left behind.

In their condolence messages, Senator representing Abia central senatorial district, Sen.Theodore Orji and the member representing Ikwuano Umuahia Federal Constituency, Chief Sam Onuigbo eulogised late Capt Isaac Ikoh for serving his fatherland as a brave soldier and contributing immensely to the development of his community and humanity especially towards the establishment of Micheal Okpara University Umudike.

Chief Ikoh in his response on behalf of the Ikoh family expressed gratitude to all who supported them in their moment of grief.

Aged 91,Late Capt Isaac Ikoh is survived by seven children, twenty-seven Grand Children, ten great grand children and a host of other relations.
