Unubiko Foundation uses school outreach programme to empower young minds in Ohafia

A non-profit organization, The Unubiko Foundation, in her commitment towards improving lives through education, healthcare, and community development, has carried out a school outreach programme to empower young minds in Ohafia local government, Abia State.

The coordinator of the organisation in Ohafia, Comrade Emeka Mannic told newsmen that the foundation visited three schools – Army Command School 1, Ebem Ohafia, Ndi Aku Community School, Ndi Aku Ohafia and Collins Memorial School, Okon Aku, Ohafia, to provide essential items to pupils.

According to him, some of the items distributed to the pupils and students include school uniforms, exercise books, sandals, and socks and a spiritual session, led by Rev. Rock Oka Kalu, to provide spiritual coverage for the programme.

He said that the foundation’s school outreach program was part of its broader commitment to supporting education in Abia State.

“We provide scholarships to tertiary institution students through their school bursary scheme and have financially assisted in the renovation of Ogbonnaya Onu Polytechnic, he said.

According to him, by empowering the young minds and supporting educational institutions, the Unubiko Foundation is paving the way for a brighter future, educationally for the state.


Community leaders, school management, and pupils expressed gratitude for the kind gesture and prayed for the foundation’s continued success .


In their separate speeches, the Palace Secretary of Okon Aku, Chief Henry Udo, The Headmistress, Collins Memorial School, Mr. Okon Aku and the. Head teacher, Ndi Aku Community school, and Mr Chukwuma Obasi Offia expressed their gratitude and benefits from the school outreach program.

They prayed for continued blessings for the founder of Umubiko Foundation and for God’s grace to continue spreading love to people
