Umunneochi To Witness Massive infrastructural Development -Ndubuisi Ike

The newly sworn in Transition Committee Chairman for Umunneochi Local Government Area has assured the people of the area that massive infrastructural development will take it’s turn,as security, education,health care, power supply among other areas, have been set as priorities to the new administration.

Interacting with National Ambassador Newspaper shortly after his swearing in, the former Treasurer of Shell Petroleum, Mr Ndubuisi Ike,assured that he would run a transparent and accountable government,where in, good governance would be prioritized.
He said he appreciates the opportunity given to him by the Governor of the state to contribute in bringing the dividend of democracy to the people, adding that bringing on board the conglomeration of experienced technocrats would enhance development at the various local areas.
According to him, his government would have steady contact with the people of Umunneochi Local Government Area,to ascertain their priorities,so as to integrate them to the already prioritized sectors of the government, pledging a robust representation.
On the area of security which has become threatening in the area,the newly sworn in Chairman said he would nip the bud of insecurity by leveraging on the efforts of Dr Alex Otti, promising that soonest normalcy would be restored in the area.
In his word,” We are redefining the narrative in terms of security. We have been working closely with the Governor even before now to rid the area of these security challenges.Am glad to announce to you that for the past three months, the issue of kidnapping has reduced drastically unlike what we used to witness.
“Soon we will return Umunneochi Local Government Area to the state of normalcy”,
The new Mayor, however, revealed that plans are ongoing to improve steady power supply to the area,for the purpose of helping small and medium enterprises to operate and as well, improve their productivity,while expressing appreciation to the Governor of the state for the opportunity to serve his people, promising not to disappoint the confidence reposed on him.
