UCL: Real Madrid Rekindle Round of 16 Hope

Real Madrid rekindled their hopes of reaching the knockout phase of the UEFA Champions League with a 2-3 victory over Atalanta at the Gewiss Stadium.

The defending champions have had a very bad season in Europe so far, losing three of their last five matches. Tonight, they knew it was a do or die affair and they delivered.

Kylian Mbappe opened scoring with his 50th Champions League goal for the visitors in the 10th minute. Sadly, the Frenchman was replaced by Rodrygo nine minutes to half-time due to injury.
