Supreme Court Judgement: Do Not Panic,Otti Tells Abians,Says All Power Belongs To God

 

Ahead of the Supreme Court judgement appeal brought against him by the PDP, which seeks to nullify the March 18,2023 election,Abia state Governor, Dr Alex Ott has expressed absolutely trust in God to grant him victory, urging Christians to do same even in times of uncertainty.

Governor Otti who stated this, Wednesday, while speaking at the ongoing yearly Global Mega Prayer Quake organized by the Ministers Prayer Network International, Obuzor Asa, Ukwa West LGA,highlighted the importance of attributing power to God, noting that all power brings to God.

The Governor while reassuring the people that absolute strength found in faith amidst challenges declared; “There’s no need to panic because the word of God is there. We serve a God greater than the others.

He maintained that God has been his shield pointing out that he draws strength from the word of God.

 

This is where we derive our strength from. There must be something that should be shielding you. Do not run away from your shield and do not confuse yourself.

 

“If you think your shield is a native doctor, by all means go to a native doctor but as for me and my house, we shall serve the Lord“.

Otti acknowledged God as well as the congregation’s prayers and support which he said culminated to the divine intervention that secured his electoral victory in 2023 and promised not to disappoint the people.

 

My promise, in the presence of God and these anointed men and women, is that I will not disappoint you,” he affirmed.

The Governor pledged to address the road infrastructure in Ukwa East and West LGA of the state to ensure a conducive environment for economic development to thrive.

 

Earlier, the convener of the Ministers Prayer Network International, Rev. Prof. Mosy Madugba while narrating how God used the Church to intervene on the electoral victory of Governor Otti,appreciated God for answering their prayers.

 

Rev. Madugba described Governor Otti as the Governor with the highest number of Christians in his cabinet and commended him for his humility and decision to return to the prayer camp to thank God for his election victory.

 

The event was attended by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, some Commissioners including the Commissioner for Information and Culture, Prince Okey Kanu, ASOPADEC GM, Justice Obisike Orji RTD, as well as respectable servants of God among others.
