Rivers Youths Berate Tony Okocha Over Comments On Gov Fubara

The Rivers State Ethnic Youth Leaders Coalition has strongly denounced recent remarks made by the Caretaker Committee Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State, directed towards Governor Siminialayi Fubara.

In a press conference held in Port Harcourt, the Chairman of the Rivers State Ethnic Youth Leaders Coalition, Dr. Legborsi Yaamaabana, expressed firm opposition to what he termed as an unjustified attack on Governor Siminialayi Fubara.

Dr. Legborsi Yaamaabana emphasized that Governor Siminialayi Fubara remains dedicated to serving the people of Rivers State, and any attempt to disparage his character will not be tolerated by the coalition.

Furthermore, Dr. Legborsi Yaamaabana urged Tony Okocha, the individual behind the comments, to redirect his efforts towards addressing the internal conflicts within the Rivers State APC, rather than targeting Governor Siminialayi Fubara.

The Rivers State Ethnic Youth Leaders Coalition reaffirmed their support for Governor Siminialayi Fubara and emphasized their commitment to advocating for his continued service to the people of Rivers State.

The condemnation from the coalition underscores the growing tensions within the political landscape of Rivers State, particularly within the APC, as various factions grapple with internal discord while attempting to navigate the broader political landscape.
