As the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia State officially flagged off her campaigns for the Governorship, National Assembly and State House of Assembly candidates in the 2023 general elections, the Abia state Governor, and the party’s flagbearer for Abia South Senatorial District, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, the PDP flagbearer for Ukwa Federal Constituency, Chief Chris Nkwonta and flagbearer for Ukwa-East State Constituency, Hon. Lewis Obianyi, among others have pledged commitment towards quality representations.
Interacting with some of the flagbearers, they maintained that they would emerge victorious in the elections to offer dividends of democracy to their constituents through quality representations.
Contributing, the Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Barr. Tony Nwamuo stated that giant strides of Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu would be a selling point of most PDP candidates.
Nwamuo who further disclosed that Gov. Ikpeazu has performed creditably in Abia to deserve a seat at the Senate, maintained that Ukwa people would vote massively for him.
